Help with Low end VPS streaming with OBS

So i've just setup a VPS for a 24/7 livestream on youtube. It's a relatively low powered input source that needs to be streamed (basically just a webpage with live data) so don't need high Fps or anything, and it's running fine with 480p, but as i'm streaming a data feed, I need 720p so the text is clear for viewers.

OVH VPS Settings

CPU - 4 vCores
Memory - 4Gb Ram
Bandwith - 1GB/s

When I try boosting to 720p resolution, youtube tells me it doesn't receive enough input. I did manage to get 720p once but the stream was constantly lagging.

Does anyone have any OBS setting resolutions that could stream lag free with 720p?

In general. It has to do with the limited access to real components required for the graphics subsystem in obs.
