Question / Help Help with LoL Streaming.

So I think I'm doing something wrong. I have a pretty good system, I'm running a 2500k @ 4.5Ghz, and a 7950 also overclocked to a 7970 GHz speed.

For some reason, pretty much no matter what setting I set up for LoL, it seems like whenever ever I move the camera in the game, my fps drops from 130 to 30 and it makes the game stutter like crazy, it's unplayable. I don't know what is wrong.

Downscale to 720p or lower to 30fps. 1080p60fps is just too much for your system. With your CPU, though, I would recommend a downscale to 720p.

I saw in the other logs you downscaled, but then lowered the preset...? Just leave it on veryfast, 720p60fps. Your CPU should be able to handle that just fine as LoL isn't super demanding from a CPU perspective.

That's the thing tho, I have tried streaming it at 720p/60 and 720p/30 and it would still make the game lag. Also leaving the preset on veryfast. Like, it seems that no matter what I do, it lags. I even tried streaming at a very tiny 1024x480, at 30fps, and it would still make my game fps drop to unplayable at times. Like it would be the usual 130-180 fps, and than randomly stutter to 20-30.

Mmm, check your CPU temps, and make sure you don't have stuff like antivirus or anything running in the background at the time. You may be getting throttled due to heat, or other processes eating up resources.

I've turned everything off, and my cpu is fine. It only seems to happen on LoL. I can stream Dota 2 at 1080p/30fps just fine with out hickups while running Dota 2 on max. I've tried streaming Call of Duty Ghosts on max, and can do it at 720p/60fps with no hickups. I've tried streaming Metro 2033 just because its a very demanding game, and I can do that at 720p/30fps with mostly all setting maxed in the game.

Yet League of Legends, it just refuses to work. I don't know why :(

Actually, last thing I might suggest is to do a repair of your LoL install. It sounds like something is wrong with the game itself. Also, maybe ask around the LoL community, see if anyone else has noticed any issues on windows 8. Could be something funky going on with drivers on Win8 for your GPU.

I fixed it...and honestly I feel stupid for not trying this earlier, but I also didnt think it would make a difference. So for some reason If i my own stream open on my 2nd monitor, the game starts lagging. I closed the stream and the game isnt lagging anymore. I don't know why that is, but hey it works now! :D

Its because of hardware aceleration. But have you tryed also runing the game, LoL , on windowed borderless mode? that can help also.
