Help with importing an After effects project for a graphic

Hello,
I work at my school's TV studio, and we are currently testing a new Blackmagic ATEM switcher hooked up to OBS for broadcasting our school's football games. I am in charge of making graphics, and I want to have an After Effects project (in this case, our scoreboard bug) animate for the first few seconds, then freeze at a frame until it needs to go away (such as at the end of a period), but I don't know how to do this.

I've attached images of the After Effects project at it animating in, and it still.

For your actual question, my first attempt would be to put a long static tail on the video itself, export that as a still image as well, and then use the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin to transition during that tail.
Something kinda like this (not complete, but maybe enough to get the idea):

You can change "Any" on "Current Scene" to a specific one, and you can show/hide individual sources instead of switching scenes, if that makes your case work better.
