The only video editor I've used (and still do), is WMM6. I see that OBS is far advanced. I would like help with my first OBS project as everything here is new to me. What I want to produce is a simple 6-10 second video clip. If successful, I will be making many of these clips. I want the dimensions of the clip to be 1080x1920 which is the current accepted dimensions for Facebook story page.
Here is what I have done so far: I chose picture(s) and resized them to 1080X1920. I put them in WMM6 and made my little clip with a 4x3 background. Now, I have a video with a black 4x3 background and 9x16 pictures on that background.
When I've learned more, I'm sure I can simplify this process, For now, I need to know the steps for importing this finished clip into OBS, removing the black border on each side and publishing a video clip with 9x16 dimensions. There will be no streaming or audio.
