Help with echo

Hi all,

I run a podcast using a simple set up of discord, OBS and audacity.

On my previous laptop I never had issues, but since it died and I bought a new laptop, I keep getting echos in the recording.

During the recording I can't hear any echos at all, it's actually after when I'm editing in audacity.

The echos only seem to emanate from those I'm talking too.

Could anyone offer any advice in how to get rid of this?

I tend to record using a turtle beach gaming headset the has a mic attached, again, never an issue before.

If you Monitor the mic, and send the Monitor to the same device that you Desktop Capture or Audio Output Capture, then the Capture includes the Monitor.
