I have been working on this for 6+ hours. I'm a very new streamer and have read so many guides and seen so many videos but I can't seem to figure this out. I'm trying to get my game and mic audio to go into OBS. I have video working just fine.
Bare with me it's late and just got off work and have to be in early tomorrow was hoping to just come back to some suggestions and try them out when I get home.
Gaming rig
Astro A50 usb > gaming rig
I have PC DVI > Monitor
I have HDMI > Avermedia extreme cap u3
I'm running voice meter banana with audio output A1 to my headset(WDM) so I can hear the game
I have output A2 going into Avermedia cap (WDM)
and my mic is set to listen on the Avermedia
When I didn't have banana my mic would pick up on obs on the stream laptop, but as soon as I set banana to output to avermedia (WDM) my mic no longer sends over to the pc. Now if I set output to avermedia MME everything works but MME sounds awful like talking into a tin can.
I also have a blue yeti mic, but Before i start plugging things in I want all the settings working.
I'm really sorry If I don't have everything here that I need.
