I have been using OBS for quite a few months. I had no issues until the last month. I can now no longer broadcast as I continually drop connection and frames. I have had my ISP out to check on things and they found no issues. I have used the recommended settings for twitch and twitch in fact reports these settings are excellent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attaching a log file from the last few days. Thanks.

Thanks ^ someone who knows how to post correct that he drops Connection frames :}

Dropped frames detected
19% of your frames were dropped due to poor network conditions. Frames are dropped when data can not be sent fast enough to the server you have selected. This is caused by trying to stream at too high of a bitrate, or by the streaming server you selected not being able to accept the data at the rate you are sending.

Try switching servers, especially if you are using twitch.tv. As a test, you could also try streaming to a different provider to check whether the problem is on your end or not.

Note that some ISPs will temporarily increase your upload speed at the start of a transfer - if you only start to drop frames after 30 - 60 seconds, your ISP is likely doing this and you will need to use a lower bitrate.

Finally, if you are using a wireless connection, keep in mind that interference from other radio sources can cause your connection to stutter and drop frames. A wired connection is strongly recommended when streaming.

I would try switching twitch servers, since I had to do it my self with Frankfurt since they work really bad. Try that if doesn't work just try lowering the bitrate and check out when the frames start to drop if you still have connection.

I tried multiple servers tonight and unfortunately had the same result. My ISP package is for a supposed 10mb up. I used to be able to stream at 3k with 0 problems. I am now at 2k and still have issues. Thanks for the response. Any other ideas?

Same story here. It used to be fine a few weeks/months ago but now I can stream fine for 10-15 minutes and then bam, 50% frames dropped... I tried changing servers.

The only thing that helps is disabling CBR but then it's bad for twitch and/or the viewers...

The best thing to do is try the things in this thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8870

In particular, try changing servers or lowering bit rate.

If none of the things in that thread work after giving them all a real try, then there's nothing more we can do to help.
