Question / Help Help with capture cards

So im running the acer aspire e 15 has th ssd and nvidia geoforce 940mx intel i5 7200u and 8 gb ddr4 memory and looking to get capture card for recording and streaming want to stay around 100 dollars im assuming i want it to have local recording capabilities but after that no clue plz help

I would suggest looking into a used Elgato HD60 or HD60s

Do they use cpu or gpu from the comp to process or no

I would suggest AVOIDING elgato capture cards. As good as the hardware may be, the software they offer is lacking at best.

You're not going to gain anything by using one on that laptop
