HELP with browser source cameral/mic

I know this has been asked many times before, but all of. the forum posts and other Googled information I have found on the issue all seem to be pretty old.

Is there ANY HOPE of getting the Browser Source inside of OBS to initiate mycamera and mic on platforms like StreamYard, ReStream, and so forth, or is this just something I'm going to have to accept?


I tried the advice available online of going into terminal and editing about the fake ui and all of that and it didn't change anything.

The fake-ui flag bypasses the browser permission dialog, but it doesn't grant OS-level access. You still need to go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and explicitly allow OBS to use Camera and Microphone. tbh for StreamYard/ReStream most people just enable OBS Virtual Camera, then open those platforms in Safari or Chrome normally and select OBS Virtual Camera as the input there -- that avoids the whole embedded browser permission mess.
