I have an El Gato HD60 and when I initially tried to use 1080p/60fps/3000 bitrate settings my stream was extremely choppy. I have since lowered it to 1080p/48fps and have tinkered with the bitrate to 3300. Now it is smooth but the quality isn't as good as I imagine it should be considering my computer specs, bandwith and hardware I am using! Can someone please help me get this resolved so I can try to stream with the best possible quality whilst remaining smooth?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Update to OBS Studio.

720p, 30 fps, fast preset, 2500-3000 Kbps
720p, 60 fps, faster preset, 3000-3500 Kbps

Unless you're streaming to YouTube or some other service with much higher bitrate allowances a 1080p stream is mostly going to look like garbage unless the content is very low motion.

I am using OBS Studio? I thought that may have been assumed as I posted in this forum. My apologies!

But I am streaming to twitch. Will ultrafast improve the stream? I am pretty confident as this will be the only thing running while I stream that my CPU should be able to handle it.

Also, should I make sure that the dedicated nvidia card is doing the work? It wasn't initially but I changed the settings to be the default for OBS.

**Update**

Now the quality is amazing but the audio has two issues.

1) It is delayed quite a bit from the gameplay when I watch re broadcasts
2) It picks up every sound and voice in the game minus my own.

Any tips on how to fix both of these issues?

Thanks!
