I recently acquired a Hauppauge HD PVR 49101 LF Rev F2 from my cousin's garage, however I have no cables nor any idea how to set this up once I get the cables. Will this even be compatible with OBS/livestreaming to twitch? If so, keep reading.
Looking at the device, it's pretty apparently first and foremost I'm going to need the power cable. I don't want to damage the device, so I'm considering buying this new AC/DC power adapter. However, I also saw this, would this work for power as well? Because it's a lot cheaper.
Next I'm going to need the cable that connects the device to the PC. I can't find any of the cables for this model (since it's older) but I did manage to find this which is for the newer model. They appear to look the same, do you think it would work?
Okay so if I got all that going, I'd need to be able to have this connected to the Wii while running in OBS simultaneously. What I'm guessing is that I'll need a way to split the RCA cable outputting from the Wii, and then two of these cables, one going into the tv, one into the HD PVR? I'm guessing from there the USB goes into the computer which could maybe be displayed in OBS.
Please give me some guidance on this since I have never recorded externally before. Thank you guys so much for the help!
