Question / Help HELP w/Chroma Key

I seem to be missing something on getting the chroma key filter to work. I tried ver 23 and 24 and no luck. in=n OBS, I have one scene and controls are (1) Video Capture Device w/chroma key filter (2) Media Source w/a mp4 file selected and (3)is Audio input. At this point shouldn't the window be showing the morphed result of the live pic and the media file? All I get is what ever control is on top. I can switch between top and bottom but no blended pic. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Your media source should be underneath your video capture device source.

If you haven't already, add a filter to your video capture device source (right click->filters). Click the plus button, and select the chroma key option. This is where you need to adjust all your chroma settings to key out whatever background you have (preferably a mostly solid color).

I have a solid green curtain for my wall. I have media as second source and the first control is video capture device with the chroma key filter added. Now at this point shouldn't I be able to see the two sources blended? I guess I am still missing something. Pulling my hair out...

Hmmm, nice video thanks. But I am doing just what you did but the 2 images don't morph or blend...Really not sure what to do now.

I think I discovered the problem. I d/l obs on my PC and when I ran the prg a screen popped up and said that some files necessary to obs were not available and sent a link to click and d/l that file. I ran obs, set up a test file... i just used a green shirt but it worked like it is supposed to. Both images blended perfectly. Now I'm thinking that this particular file is mossing r corrupt. Can anyone give me the link to install that file?

I just unstalled and installed v24. I did not get the msg about missing need to be added. and chroma key is not working. How do I erase that file that controls the filters? OR maybe how can I get ALL obs files removed before I install?

HELP!!! I used IObit Uninstaller and uninstalled obs. Downloaded and installed obs. ran obs and the same problem... chroma key doesn't work. I' really not sure what to do next. This is so weird as obs works fine on my PC but not full function on my laptop. Does ANYONE have a solution to this strange problem?
