Question / Help HELP! The video just stops!

Hello All,

I am a teacher and brand new to this! Last week I was able to record long videos of whole powerpoints. This week it is shutting the video down after a minute. I don't have any hotkeys in use. I am super new and just am using the basics!

Please help...how do I go back to recording long lectures in one video. I just love this program cause I can show everything to my students whether its on the web or powerpoint.

Can someone please help this overstressed teacher! Thanks in advance!
 
Check the Output Timer in the Tools menu and check you haven't set OBS to stop recording after one minute.

If not, please post a logfile from a recording session.

Include a log file if you have a problem: here's how

To upload a log file, go to the Help menu -> Log Files -> Upload current/last log file. The current log file is for the currently active running session. The last log file is for the last time you ran the program. We recommend always including it just in case.

Open OBS. Start an output session (streaming or recording). Observe your issue. Stop the output session. Upload the Current log without quitting OBS.
