I am having a very very tough time streaming crossfire
Background: I tried streaming with x split and after spending hours getting the settings right i finally got a stream that didnt have black bars and was not pixelated, and so after lots of tweaking the settings i could not seem to fix the last issue i was having which was lag so i gave up. I now went to obs and spent so much time and effort trying to get my settings right and nothing is working, i am very very frustrated.

Ex 1: Using window capture

What happens is when i am in the crossfire lobby it is fine and good and then when i go ingame it suddenly does not read crossfire as a window or whatever and instantly goes to the next window that it is able to capture which is google chrome, this results in.. well what you see in that..

Ex 2: Game capture

This is what happens with game capture - it has black bars and will show a brief portion of the stream and then all the sudden the stream will freeze on 1 frame meanwhile my gameplay is not affected at all i cannot seem to fix this issue either.

Ex 3: Monitor capture

I will be capturing the whole screen with my montior, which if it had come down to it would be my last choice to use when streaming, but even this does not work. I will go ingame and even though i am full screen on my computer the stream will show.. What you saw... Nothing much to describe it just look at the video and you will know what i mean.

I am very frustrated and have no idea what to do and really what is going on.. Had no idea that it would be this hard to stream a game.. When i say i have been spending countless hours on both programs trying to get the settings right and doing all the research to get it right i am not lying. You probably think i am exaggerating but i am honestly not.. I have literally spent countless hours on both of these programs.

I couldn't thank you enough if someone was able to successfully help me in fixing these issues.. Honestly, after all the time i have spent on this stuff i couldn't appreciate it more if someone could help me fix this.

OBS has always had issues with crossfire. Their software just causes issues with game capture, and I'm not sure about what else to suggest other than window capture. I honestly can't really tell you what to do in this case, I can't know what to do for every situation unfortunately, sometimes you may just have to use whatever's working best. It's not an easy situation but sometimes we don't always have all the answers.
