Hey guys, im having some trouble on OBS.
My upload speed is about 7000kbps, but when i try to stream more than 2000kbps, people keep getting buffering from 5 to 5 seconds.
I tryed to stream on shadowplay, and i can go up to 3500kbps without any problems on stream.
But i really enjoy to use OBS because i can customize everything.
I would like to know if im doing anything wrong on OBS.

For non-partnered streamers, over 2000kbps@30fps isn't advisable because viewers will get stuck buffering if they can't download at the bitrate/framerate of the stream, and if you aren't partnered, they can't select quality options to make it easier on their internet connection.
Which really sucks.
If 2000kbps looks terrible to you, you could try to up the video quality by tweaking the x264 CPU preset under advanced options if your computer is strong enough.

What i dont understand is why shadowplay doesn't give me these problems, even thought i stream at 3500kbps.
And i only stream to my friends, they all have good connections

Maybe their connections were strained for some reason, or maybe you're streaming 60fps on OBS while ShadowPlay is recording at 30fps? It could also be that Twitch's servers are being stupid.
I doubt its the recording software you're using that's influencing how often viewers of your stream buffer.

im using 30fps on both software at 720p, i dunno what might be the problems, ive tryed selecting different servers to see if that was the problem, i really dunno what to do xD, but thanks for the help

doesnt really matter what ingest server you use, since all your viewers get rooted through san francisco twitch servers, thats also the reason why european streamers who are not partnered have huge problems streaming on twitch when it comes to buffering issues

I think my ISP is throttling my connection hard, tryed to stream over a vpn, and stopped having issues, no dropped frames.. nothing..
