Help solving video capture black screen after installing new Nvidia GPU

My camera previously worked fine through my usb capture card into my PC, when it was previously running on an AMD GPU. Now that I've replaced that with a GTX 3060 ti, the camera's Video Capture Device source just shows black.

I have tried all of the most popular fixes for this online, such as:
- setting OBS to power saver mode in the Windows display settings (although even if this worked I wouldn't want OBS to be running on my integrated graphics card as that would somewhat defeat the purpose of streaming games through OBS);
- setting OBS to high performance mode instead;
- running OBS in compatibility mode or run as administrator;
- uninstalling OBS and re-installing the latest version;
- setting OBS in GeForce Experience to either the Optimized mode or turning Optimized off.
- ensured the capture feed wasn't being used by any other software.

I am running Windows 10 20H2. I'm really surprised it seems this is such a prevalent issue for Nvidia GPU users with OBS, based on the number of people online that seem to have to resort to the power saved mode / integrated graphics approach. Is there a proper fix for this?

Any help would be appreciated

Specifically referring to the video capture device that is called Camera A6000, which is using the camera through capture card.
