Question / Help HELP!!! SKYPE WOES

I have used it for a podcast I do which features more than one person at a time in a group discussion on a windows machine. In OBS I did this by using window capture and the picking Skype. Now Skype is forcing us to go to the new Skype. The problem is it will no longer show the window when I choose it. It remains blank. When I use it on a Mac, it works. Something in the windows version isn't recognizing it. Short of doing my show o the mac (which I don't want to do) what can be dome about this? Can someone at OBS fix it?

If the new version is a windows store version, then no there's nothing we can do to fix it. You're going to likely need to wait for the skype for creators update.

I am having this issue too and I've not seen any other answer. the update forces you through the Window store. They look different but if the issue has something to do with the store than maybe that's it? It worked fine up until the minute I updated it

Skype is referring everyone to that update when they are looking for "classic skype" so I guess I'd suggest not updating Skype until it's fixed or until you're force in September?

The Skype for Creators version adds NDI output support.

Yet it works on the Mac! Also what is Skype for Content Creators and where can I get it?

You will need Desktop version of Skype (Skype for Windows) for this. Mac version should have it too. Here's the link on how to turn it on :

Doesn't work. Can't find the switch to turn it on in either the Mac or PC version. They must have removed it.
