Question / Help Help setting up on a webcam site

Hello,

I am a webcam model who happens to love gaming as well. I have seen other models stream gaming with an overlay cam view of themselves as well. I really would love to do this, and have googled everything i could think of, but cant find specifically what im looking for.

On my webcam site, to broadcast my cam i can choose the source for my video, like Logitech c92, or manycam for example. Then start camming.

In the Broadcast Settings of Open Broadcaster it asks for "Server" and "Play Path/Stream Key (if any)" but im not sure what they are or how to find them.

So my question is: does anyone know, if i get the server and play path info, is that all i need? then just go to my webcam site and choose Open Broadcaster as the source and im good to go? Basically i am looking for a kind person to help get set up to play games w/ webcam overlay on my camming site.

If the only way to stream on that site is by choosing a source on the site then you can't use OBS is in its current state unfortunately. OBS doesn't provide a virtual camera output, but I believe it might get added in the future (but I'm guessing it has very low priority). If you are a model on MFC then I think this is the case, I don't think you can use 3rd party software to stream to their site, but I'm not a model so I can't know for certain.

damn, well I am not sure if it is the only way....I just know models stream on that site all the time <one streaming a movie right now actually>

I thought OBS might be the best option :(

A DirectShow output is planned for sure. Unfortunately it's not in the program just yet.

I hate to do this but I'm actually suggesting that you try XSplit since you can choose that as a source on the site like you do with your webcam or ManyCam.
