Hello! I just switched from fraps to OBS. I want to use OBS to record video's so not for streaming.
I was wondering what settings are recommended for my pc, my pc specs are :
- Intel Core i7-6700k (CPU)
- 16 GB ram
- NVIDEA GeForce GTX 970 (Graphics card)
- MSI Z170A Gaming M7 (Motherboard)
I would like to record video's in 1080p quality with 30/60 fps.
I am now using 3000 bitrate, cpu preset veryfast, encoding profile main, time between keyframes 2, and 60FPS (I got those settings from a YouTube video) The problem with these settings is that when I watch the recorded material it has parts where its "lag"(The screen is flickering) note that I do not experience lag while gaming.
If you guys have any recommendations I would like to hear them!
