Hello,

I'm not a complete newb with OBS and ive tried some different settings. But everytime i feel like i'm not doing it right.
I would like to ask you guys what the best settings are for me to stream League of Legends games.

This is my PC:
Mobo: AsRock 970 Extreme3
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition 3,4 Ghz
GFX: AMD Radeon HD 6850
RAM: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance CL9 1600MHz
Windows 7 Ultimate
Since my main monitor died a couple of days ago my max resolution is 1440x900. But i'm working on a new 1080p screen!

And my internet connection:

I hope you guys can give me some advice on how to setup my OBS to stream LoL or either tell me what components of my PC i have to upgrade!

Thanks in advance

Just upgrade your GPU, I suggest getting a 7870 GHz edition. Really great card for gaming and streaming! Oh and you MAY want to upgrade your CPU to a 8320/8350 because of the useful 8 cores! :)

his gpu is fine ... only the cpu is a bit weak but for streaming lol its enough if hes using 720p30 with a 2k bitrate

pretty much what alpin said. downscale 1.5 from your current resolution., 30fps, i'd try 2500 bit/buff as 2k still can get a little blocky during high motion, try veryfast and if its still bad drop down to ultrafast although quality will be worse with ultrafast, only really a solution if your cpu can't handle it. post a log here with veryfast setting so we can see. if you upgrade anything i would also suggest an 8350 processor since it can use the same motherboard alhough intel solutions are still better at this time, all a matter of affordability.

First of all thanks for the replies!
I allready thought i needed an upgrade to my CPU so i will look in to that which is the most affordable for me since id like to keep it as cheap as possible since im still a student.
Just adjusted your recommended settings and i will edit the OP with the log file after dinner since its 6:15 pm here. But i have my bit/buff rate at 3500 since i have an huge internet connection and it was recommended by OBS and twitch.
Annyways thanks again, and i will upload the log file soon!

The requested log file in the OP

I played a game and it went all ok, without ingame lag issues as i had (sometimes) before.
The only 'issue' i occurred was that my stream on twitch had some lag but idk if that has something to do with me or twitch, and im not quite satisfied with the quality.. its okay but i'd like to see it better but i know i need a 1080p monitor for that and a CPU upgrade if im right

if you dont have a partnered channel you will want to go with 2000-2500 because twitch will not filter your stream, and some of your viewers will not be able to watch a 3500 bitrate stream. without twitch filtering your stream they cannot choose a lower setting. stream watchability>max settings capable
