Hello everyone.

I have a i5 3570k OC 4.2ghz, AMD 7870 Tahiti LE, 8gb ram, overall pretty good specs.

I am trying to stream League of Legends, but I'm bottleneck'd by my internet.

I'm from Toronto Canada and I have the Rogers express package.
http://www.rogers.com/web/link/hispeedB ... faultPlans

It has 2mbps upload speed.

Using the estimator, it told me to use
Recommended max bitrate: 1741
Recommended buffer size: 1741

I have been streaming a bit recently but I cannot go above 600 bitrate without lagging horribly in game. I am currently using downscale to 480p and 600 bitrate but I really want to stream 720p. If I do 720, the quality is absolutely horrible.

I stream to the NY server.

Does anyone know what settings I can use to optimize my stream? My link is on twitch.tv/smant if you want to see the result of my current settings.

Thanks!

Don't listen to him, all ISPs that offer cable are using the rogers network. In reality, they are just resellers that are offering cheaper prices and more bandwidth (incentive of being a reseller), but depending on the company you switch with, you lose out on valuable tech support.

I'm on Rogers Express as well and I currently live in Markham and I'm able to stream at a decent quality.

1650/1650 bitrate/buffer
720 @ 40 fps

I'm still testing around, but that's what I have right now
