i upgraded some of my computer. need youe help about settings.

my priorities is onle recording- not streaming.
i will mainly try to record videos of lectures. or training videos to my lectures.

here is my LOG:


what encoder i should use?
what rwsolution? what fps?
range of 709 or 601?
300 nits of HDR?
should i use the hardware accelration? i heard that if the webesite has DRM format- the hardware will make balck screen when recording...

Strat uninstalling the malware called McAffee. As long as you have good behavior online you don't need anything else than Windows Defender. And if you need something else, try with Malwarebytes as it's the less intrusive causing the less issues with OBS.

Keep everything as is when you install OBS. Do not change settings unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Run the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu) and apply the settings it gives. Do not change any setting. Restart OBS. Yes, it's really important to restart OBS.
Test as is. If all goes well, go to the recording settings (notice you are on simple output mode, stay in it) and select a different and better quality preset. Test.
Done.

If a site has DRM protection you have to contact them about it.
