Hi,
I came here to ask for some help to lower the cpu usage from the IP Webcam browser source.
I am running the phone stream at 1080p and 40% quality, and my cpu is at something like 20-30% and my intel gpu is running at about 10% when obs is minimized and virtual cam is running. (only 5% when virtual cam isn't).
So I was wondering if there is a way to lower the cpu usage.
I know I can reduce the resolution and the quality, but it's not what I am searching for.
I don't understand where I can change the settings for the hardware acceleration, or any setting to test with.
My computer has an i7 8550u, 16gb memory, igpu UHD 620, and a mx150 (nvidia gpu, no nvenc, only cuda usable I think, but I don't want to use this gpu).
This won't be used to stream, but to use as a virtual cam for other software.
Also, if you know any other software which works better for this usage, I'm open to suggestions.
