Question / Help Help on lag when video is done being recorded

Whenever I record, I'm fine. Totally lag free and nothing is bothering me at all. When I'm finished with the video, it turns out to be very shaky. It lags every now and then which ruins the quality of the video (in this case a montage).

and idea on how to fix this?

My OBS Settings:
32-bit OBS
Encoder NVENC H.264
Rate Control CBR
Bitrate 40000
Base resolution 1920:1080

Computer Specs:
Windows 10 x64 bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU 2.70 GHz, 2701 Mhz
GeForce GTX 1070
8.00 GB RAM

We need more info. Post a log so we can see more. Also, do a test recording or stream for at least 30 seconds.

When you say lag, do you mean audio lag?

You use 40.000 Bit-Rate, which might be the cause of your lag, try lowering it, if you're planning to upload videos on Youtube than this link might help

Try plugging in both of your monitors to your NVidia graphics card, and restart OBS-Studio and game. There is some performance problems when windows and OBS have to transfer data from one graphics card to another.
