Question / Help Help! obs lagging whilst recording cs:go

im trying to record local footage of cs go with obs but when i use it the game begins to lag somewhat. pc specs : r9 270x,
fx 6300 and 8 gb ram. i run cs go max out at 200 - 300 fps w/o obs and w 50 - 80 (you would think fine but at this fps it is laggy) any help to fix this problem would be appreciated. I record in window source also if that helps. log 1: ask for the second if you need

Had to screen shot log as couldnt have over 1000 characters.

It's because you're streaming at 1920x1080 60fps. Go in to video settings and use downscale. Preferably at least 1.5+ downscale to reduce CPU usage, possibly even more.

For your CPU, I wouldn't recommend it. You could try setting the "x264 CPU preset" in advanced to ultrafast and see if that helps.
