Help! no audio monitoring all of a sudden after 7 months

I had not done any sort of updates or anything to OBS or to Windows and all of a sudden OBS will not send any audio to any output for monitoring. I cannot hear anything. But it is working because I recorded a video and the audio is there. What is going on?? I am lost at trying to figure this out, I have tried everything. I have been using OBS for 7 months now. This is the same setup I always use to stream, i start it up tonight and no audio to monitor. ???
 
I restarted the pc and obs a few times and it fixed it.. very strange bug that I have never seen before i guess.
