Question / Help Help needed to set up my stream

Heya!

I need help setting up my stream with this connection:

I used to have 350 max bitrate and 150 buffer size on 0.47 obs and i could stream 360p. However same settings dont work in latest OBS.

Any suggestions?

Also my system:
Intel Quad 2 Core Q8300 @3.0GHz
4 Gig Ram 1033MHz
ATI Radeon 4870 512MB

Yes, getting a better Internet connection.

Other than that -- Do you have a recent log of a session you ran on the current version? Just to see what's going on now.

Belive me, ive been trying to get that for quite some time, optic fiber cables are getting layed all around me but not in my area...

• Enable CBR
• Enable CBR Padding
• Max Bitrate: 350
• Custom Buffer Size: 546

Dropping frames like flies (that square stays in red zone 90% of the time streaming).

http://sourceforge.net/projects/obsproject/files/ -- Grab 0.47, I would say. If that worked for you before, it should work for you again. In recent versions changes to the network related code were made and they may somehow have made it impossible for a connection like yours to stream.

No, if you're on a 64-bit OS it's best to run the 64-bit version.

Hmm weird, im getting black screen only when i try to preview my stream, sound from the game seems to be detected by OBS...

I got it working by using software capture, but its not working 350+150, i guess its better i stop trying until i get optic fiber connection.
