I have an i3 laptop with windows 8 and I was curious if I could use it to stream I saw the guide today where I could use my onboard video card to mirror my image to that to stream but, I mostly experience lag (not network latency but, high system load) when streamnig on my Z77X-UP4 TH Gigabyte i7 GTX 760 setup.

Its a
HP Pavilion 15-n000 15-n013ca 15.6" LED (BrightView) Notebook - Refurbished - Intel Core i3 i3-4005U Dual-core (2 Core) 1.70 GHz

problem is that the screen is cracked so I am using the HDMI out to watch videos on the side of my main monitor. Can I use this computer to broadcast while I play on my main box?

First of all, u need a way to bring the game from the Main pc to the Laptop. A USB capturecard is one thing u can do.

The Problem is, depend on ur quality u want to Stream, the Laptop. I think a Dual Core with 1.7ghz cant handle it in a smooth quality.

An i3 isn't going to really do much good at all, as an encoding machine. They're used for bargain-basement email machines for a reason. Likewise, you need a capture device to get the video into the laptop, and since it's a laptop your options are very limited. Better idea, just stream from your normal gaming machine, assuming it has better specs.
