help how do I connect my OBS to my personal server?

Check the logs for the RTMP software running on your server, see if the authentication failed somehow. Unfortunately, third-party software support is outside the scope of the OBS support forums. But if your listener daemon is configured correctly, it should be as simple as setting your server and stream key (if necessary) on the OBS side.
