Question / Help HELP: having issues with OBS [resolved]

Hi there,
So I've noticed whenever I have the program OBS open and I play League of Legends, I get minor in-game delay sometimes. Like randomly I'll go from 4:45 and it'll sorta freeze and then after 5 seconds it'll jump to 4:50. I thought it was my ISP but whenever the program is closed I have no issues at all. Does anyone know how to help this?

Do you mean like high ping? If you have high ping in-game, try using the option "minimize network impact" in advanced, although if that fails you may just have to lower your bitrate a bit.

No problems with ping, just a spike. I think it's called packet data loss? like if im in a skype call, i can still talk to people but my stream freezes on twitch.tv and my league freezes for a couple of seconds

post a log to see what your hardware is doing :/

Actually he came in on IRC and determined that it was monitor capture causing his problem. He removed monitor capture and used window capture instead on LoL and it fixed his occasional hiccup problems. Marking it as resolved for now
