Morning! I've been trying to set up OBS since last night and gone through most of the guides but have not found a solution to my problem yet. I even read the manual and pushed most of the buttons!
I am attempting to use File Output Only. I've tried full monitor capture, partial monitor capture, window capture, game capture (using admin mode), and even once used video capture mode but I have no device for it atm! I've tried different programs, I've tried closing programs with possible overlays (skype/steam), I've followed the setup guides (learned some cool things there about video), and I've also yelled at the computer once to no avail.
Regardless of what I try I get a very pretty .mp4 file with full audio, and zero video. Not even a single pixel! Preview stream? Works exactly as I want it to, and I'm not really sure were to go next. There are plenty of guides on fixing interlaced videos, which I'll need later if I do Minecraft according to the preview, but I've not seen one for no video output.
