Hi all! I'm a music teacher who is currently all online. I've been using OBS to overlay timers, classroom rules, worksheets and more. It's been great but I'd really love to have audio play when my countdown hits 0. I downloaded a few Virtual Audio Outputs but the only one that would work was Blackhole. I kind of figured out how to make it work but the audio got SUPER staticy and I can't seem to make it work at all on Google Meet. Any ideas?

Fellow teacher here. I've been using OBS to run my meets via the NDI plugin. I think its more resource heavy than the virtual cam option, but I'm able to send out audio the "correct" way without using a virtual cable work around. I run NDI virtual input and it picks up OBS's stream out audio and all.

I too use NDI's Virtual input. Great tool, however can be a little complicated at first. There are some really good YouTube videos on how to set up (newtek) NDI Tools. Once you get it working, NDI seems to deliver really clean and accurate audio from whatever is in OBS. I've been using it for months now and have had nothing but good things to say about the experience.
