Heavy pixelation streaming Splatoon 2

I've been using my Live Gamer Ultra capture card for months now, simultaneously streaming and recording any game I play through it, and in all that time I've never had an issue until today. I was playing Splatoon 2, and the final product -- both the streamed video and recording -- have heavy pixelation during gameplay at almost all times, as shown below:

This frame is particularly bad, but it's good sample to show how bad it can get, with similar pixelation occurring at all times (it's been resized to 720p to fit on this message board, but the original capture is 1080p). Now, I do understand that the reason for this is because the camera changes constantly and quickly and this is OBS reacting to that as quickly as it can, but are there any settings I can use to mitigate or stop this from happening? My capture card streams using XRGB at a bitrate of 5000 for streaming and 6000 for recording, with the issue appearing in both. Like I said, all other games look fine at these settings, and I never drop frames unless I'm having a general internet issue. My log file from that stream is attached as well. Thank you for any help!
