Question / Help HDCP and me

I have the Avermedia U3 and simply want to use HDMI to stream my ps3. I do use the component cables that come with it but I would much rather use HDMI.
So far it looks like all the splitters that use to work don't anymore and that's why I'm here. Are there any current splitters that will strip the HDCP?

You can't use HDMI with the PS3 because of the built in copy protection in HDMI and the PS3. As much as it sucks, you have to use component cables.

Thank you so much for the reply. I've been digging into google with some people saying yes and some saying no. Glad I can save 25 bucks.
