I am not certain that this issue has anything to do with OBS, but I figured this would be a good place to ask this question
First, my routing - gaming rig > hdmi cable > streaming rig (HD60 Pro). I then have my main display and my capture card cloned, not using the passthrough method.
My gaming rig will have some lag/freezes - almost like the SSD is going out. That is, until I unplug the HDMI cable that goes to the capture card. Once I do that, all of the locking up goes away and my system works fine.
This happens even when my streaming PC is powered off.
Anyone have any ideas?
