HD Camera + PowerPoint = Slides blurry

We have a pretty extensive set up for our online programs. We're feeding a separate HD camera to the studio, and using a mixing board usb output for sound. My production colleague is then running powerpoint on his computer and projecting the HD camera and Powerpoint together (toggling full screen now and then etc.). The general image is about 1/3 speaker at podium (from camera) and 2/3 presentation (from PowerPoint).

We get excellent recordings out this set up.

However, when we send this through zoom for webinars, our participants are frequently complaining that the PowerPoint slides are blurry/difficult to read. The camera comes through fine however.

We need this to work better! Thoughts?

@FerretBomb recently recommended being careful with the default Source Scale Filtering, and recommended for sharpness to use Bicubic instead of the default (disabled)
And then there is the option of using a Windowed vs Full screen slide show, and not rescaling at all.
To see if this makes any difference for you, Record and check that (vs streaming).

And then if you search in these forums, there is a discussion regarding how Zoom handle video (optimized for motion) vs a dedicated slide show (optimized for sharpness). Your OBS stream to zoom is considered all video, even though it isn't. You may be dealing with assumption in encoder that Zoom makes (that you may or may not be able to overcome)
