Having two audio tracks causes the desktop to be muted

I'm still not completely familiar with obs. When I have two separate audio tracks, only the mic seems to work. The desktop audio is muted when rewatching it. Even in my editor (Sony Vegas), it is muted. I have no idea how to solve this issue and I can't find any concrete solution to it anywhere. Any kind of help is appreciated.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. In VLC both tracks work but in Sony Vegas, only one audio track even shows up. Could it have something to do with mkv format?
