Hey , i´m trying to find the best starting point , for "File Output Only" with the system that i have.
Can´t find the sweetspot quality vs performence. Tried different settings found in here , and recommended by friends. But the cpu load always gets to high , i am playing Ghost Recon Online ( free to play, awsome game) and my fps drops to 25-35 .

My rig
Asus Sabertooth Z77
Intel i7-3770K (3500Mhz-boost 4100Mhz)
Asus GTX670 oc 2gb
8 gb corsair dominator platinum (2133Mhz)
OS & OBS drive SSD OCZ vertex3 60GB
Game drive SSD OZC Agility series 60GB
Capture drive HHD Western Digital Black 1TB

Hope someone can help me getting a better starting point :)

Re: having trouble finding the best "File Output Only" setti

Hey, i have now tried using this guidehttps://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2972
The OBS program is still killing my cpu. The last settings that i used was this:

Encoding
Use CBR: Disabled
Quality Balance: 6
Bitrate: 1000
Use custom buffer size: Enabled
Buffer size: 0

Advanced Options
Custom x264 parameters: crf=20

Using Game Capture

My rig
Asus Sabertooth Z77
Intel i7-3770K (3500Mhz-boost 4100Mhz)
Asus GTX670 oc 2gb
8 gb corsair dominator platinum (2133Mhz)
OS & Game drive SSD OCZ vertex3 60GB
OBS drive SSD OZC Agility series 60GB
Capture drive HHD Western Digital Black 1TB

Can it be a hardware issue? Just made a fresh installation of all my computer, still with the same issue.
Any suggestions will be helpfull. Running out of ideas my self.

Re: having trouble finding the best "File Output Only" setti

I have found the problem, it was a audiodriver , that i needed to reinstall . So it was not the OBS . Now the program works perfectly . Thanks for the responds. Now i just need to figure out to record from 1680x1050 16:10 to 1920x1020 16:9, so my Youtube vidoes can be as clear as possible.
