Question / Help Having To Switch GPU's To Use Game/Display Capture

Im using a HP Omen Laptop:
i5-7300HQ 2.5Ghz
Windows 10 64bit
Gtx 1050

When ever i try to record a game in full screen, I need to go into Nvidia Control Panel And change the OBS graphics processor to the GTX 1050 however, when I try to record my whole screen, I need to go back to the control panel and change the graphics processor to Integrated Graphics. Should it be like this?

Yes, this is a limitation of how laptops with multiple graphics cards work. See this post by Jim, the project maintainer, or this help article.
