Question / Help Having Streaming Issues\Frame Drops

Hey guys having some issues when streaming to Twitch. I originally had my stream at 1080p 60fps at 3500kb/s. It was working pretty good for the most part until it just suddenly the bit rate just tanks and drops. Making me have to stop and start the stream again. Lowered bit rate to 3000 and it works for so long than dropped frames again. Even had it set to 720p and I can still see it fluctuate.

Here are my specs
Intel i7 6700k
16GB DDR4 RAM
Nvidia gtx 980ti
These specs should be powerful enough to handle these settings right? I didnt mess with any other settings besides resolution, bit rate, and fps. Everything else should be default.

My internet speeds are usually 120 down and 12-15 Up

Any help is appreciated. I dont know if using OBS Studio will fix the issue? Using OBS Classic.

Twitch's bitrate limitation of 3500 isn't enough for 1080p60. 720p60 is better, or 1080p30 if your game isn't very high action (card game or the like).

Otherwise, check the stickied posts and post an OBS log file.

That sounds a lot like the same issue I'm having. I stream 3ds, so I'm only using 10% of my CPU. I also stream at 720p 30fps with a bitrate of 1000. I never used to get framedrops, but one day they just started happening out of nowhere. Sometimes I'll go a while without any and then they just hit at once. I also tried OBS Studio and the problem was worse on that.

My specs:
i7 4790k
16GB DDR4 RAM
Nvidia GTX 960

My speed is 60 down 6 up
