I'm trying to record my d&d sessions using obs. The audio for my mic is fine but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to record my players. I keep trying different things to adjust the audio, but nothing seems to be working. It doesn't pick up any other sounds. No music, no vices. It only picks up my input no output. I'm using a ps4 headset to talk through mic. what do I do to fix this?

Not enough information about your scenario. Are you trying to record a pen&paper session at a table where everybody is present? Or are you trying to record a voip session you are running with the help of a voip conference system like Skype, Discord or Teamspeak, where everyone is remote and participating only via voice? What is your setup for the recording?

I'm using roll20 and discord to play. I can capture images with obs but I can't record the sounds from discord or any other sources for that matter. It only records images and not sound. Everyone in my group is using voice channel so we don't see each others faces, but I do wish I knew how to fix this.

Identify the Windows device where Discord plays the sound of your gaming session. It's probably your headset. Make sure this device is listed in OBS Settings->Audio, so you can record it. Then make sure this device is activated to the audio track you're creating (usually track 1) in OBS Edit->Advanced Audio Properties.

My microphone does not show up. It's meant for playstation 4 not pc so I think that may be the first problem.
