Question / Help Having problems installing OBS Remote

HI I have been trying to setup OBS remote to use it via overwolf as the Twitch app no longer seems to be working, I have tried to download the installer but it just says OBS needs to be installed which the latest version already is installed and working. So i tried using the manual installer for the plugin just copy and paste into the correct plugins folder. Launch obs and the Plugin is not there I try to run the remote and it asks for localhost so ip and password which I dont know how to set up.
Any ideas why it wont install or what else I need to do thanks.

OBS Remote is only for OBS Classic and classic plugins do not work in Studio.

Thanks I didnt know that it wasnt on OBS studio XD and thanks checking this out now does this work with Overwolf or would I need to use it on another device.
Also checking out the websocket remote there isnt anyway I can see of starting a stream or stopping it?

I couldn't seem to get the websocket to work, it doesn't seem to actually do anything or show what obs is doing?

OBS Remote is for classic OBS, not OBS Studio. You can't use the OBS Remote app with the new websocket plugin, you have to follow the instructions on the websocket page and use the web interface.
