Question / Help Having OBS open lowers sound for Fortnite?

I recently updated my OBS to version 21.1.2
Everything is perfect, the quality is amazing, and I'm having no issues with my game lagging.
However, I've noticed that, recording or not, simply having OBS open dramatically lowers my game sound, I was wondering if someone could help me figure out the cause of this and hopefully fix it.
