Question / Help Having issues with OBS / MP

So as above I am streaming 1080 down scaled to 720. I tried multiple different methods. Streaming with x264, HVENC, and my AVerMedia c985. Now the stream will work, but on playback on the videos it goes straight into a slow motion playback. My monitor is on 144 hz when it does this. I swapped through each individual encoding options and it did the exact same thing. Now i swapped my monitor to 60 hz and it just simply disappeared... Stream works fine, no problems. My question is, is there no way to stream whilst your hardware is above 60 hz? If so any help would be appreciated

What are your settings on the Settings > Video page? Try setting Fractional FPS value, Numerator 144, Denominator 1. If that doesn't work, try Integer FPS Value of 120, and change your framerate on your monitor down to 120.
 
Haven't messed with the fractional settings much yet myself, you might need to set the Denominator up to 2 (to stream at 72fps) or 3 (to stream at 48fps) when your base framerate is 144Hz, now that I think about it. Trying to stream at 144fps seems kinda insane lol.
