I'm having some trouble enabling QuickSync. I read all the guides online on how to get it to work but I've had no luck. I was hoping someone here could tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Alright, here's what my BIOS looks like.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P and my processor is an Intel Core i5 2500K.
Here's the advanced BIOS features screen.
I changed Onboard VGA to "always enable."
Here's the integrated peripherals screen.
On any screen in my BIOS I can't see anything relating to "iGPU" or Multi Adapter or anything relating to that, so I wasn't really sure what to change here, all I changed was Onboard VGA to "always enable." I'm pretty sure this is where I messed up.
Anyway, we come back into Windows and I do see that the onboard graphics are in working order.
So I followed the multi-monitor guide that I found here: http://mirillis.com/en/products/tutorials/action-tutorial-intel-quick-sync-setup_for_desktops.html
All seems to be well. But when I go into OBS, QuickSync is still greyed out, even if I change the video adapter in OBS video settings.
What am I missing?
