Hey everyone, I have been streaming off and on since about 2015. However starting 2 days ago, I have encountered an issue with OBS Studio and my desktop audio. I haven't changed any settings, but for some reason out of the blue, you can no longer hear any sound on my stream from my pc. I always stream with music, and it can no longer be heard. I have the correct audio device selected in OBS, and under mixer where is shows Desktop audio, I can see the bar moving like its detecting my desktop audio,, however its not sending it to stream any more. I have no idea whats going on, and like I said, I haven't changed any settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is completely stumping me.

hi - what is your sources advanced audio properties set to? Mine resets periodically for some reason (probably w/update). Make sure its set to monitor and output. Good luck.

Yup, checked that, and it's all good. I think there is an issue with my pc. It's done this in the past but I can't diagnose the problem. I will probably word this poorly, so I hope you can follow along. when I boot my pc, if I open a certain program first, (lets use discord as an example as its one of the programs that causes this) if I close out of that program, I lose all audio to my headset. this can be corrected by simply opening windows sound settings. once I open windows sound settings, I regain my audio. Its a very strange issue, and I have tried and tested everything to fix it.

For audio Im running an xlr mic and xlr headphones through a mixer board (Yamaha MG10XU) Not sure if this setup is causing any of the issues, but I thought it would be worth mentioning. The mixer board is connected to the PC via USB, and it has its own power supply
