Question / Help Having a very bizarre issue when mixing mic to mono.

I have a UR28M interface. When ever I make the mic Mono in the advanced audio settings for the mic track it gets HARD limited to -6db. There is nothing I can do in OBS to get it to go about -6db, no matter how bad it's peaking in windows, on discord, you name it. It just hard limits at -6db only if mixed to mono. If that is unchecked that meter matches windows, the interface, etc, it peaks no problem. Not that I'm wanting to peak but I don't want a -6db hard limiter on my mic track. It's so strange. Does anyone have any ideas?

PS: I just realized I posted this in the wrong section the first time if a mod would like to delete this post

Do you have the OBS Asio plugin installed?
Yeah after a ton of googling found that as a possible solution but for some reason this is all I get with the ASIO plugin.. not sure if I'm doing something wrong. If I select my soundcard ASIO or even voicemeter ASIO or anything like that I get some options in those drop down boxes. If I select the interface, not so much :/

EDIT: I goofed around and turns out it's because voice meter had control over it. I closed out voice meter and got the options I needed. Hmm. Now I just need to figure out how to get voicemeter to work along side this so that I can still separate Desktop audio and Discord audio.

EDIT 2: To update I've had great success. I just output to the steinberg as KS (kernal streaming) in voicemeter, and then I am able to use ASIO in OBS with seemingly no issues. I still can do three seperate audio tracks this way and it seems to be flawless so far.
