Last game capture log:
2014-01-09, 03:49:21: we're booting up:
03:49:21: CaptureThread: attached to process Morrowind.exe

I have an AMD 7770 gpu and i have been trying to stream multiple games including morrowind and dayz standalone.
i have been able to get the capture to work using window capture and monitor capture. however this is not optimal because the game only shows up in the uppper left corner and i would have to adjust my settings for every single game i play in order to fix this problem.

any other information required to help me though this problem i will happilly give. Thanks!!

Re: Having a problem capturing any game in game capture mode

For Morrowind, are you running any graphical mods? Also, I believe it might be a DX8 game, which Game capture doesn't support (unless you can get the game to run in DX9 mode or higher).

For DayZ, how are you checking that it's being captured? The game is fullscreen, so when you alt tab, the screen will be either black or frozen. I recommend trying to capture using the hotkey method in Game capture - just enter the game and press the hotkey to start capturing, then check the recording afterward (do a test) to make sure it's being captured correctly.

Situations like these make second monitors very helpful.

Re: Having a problem capturing any game in game capture mode

agreed, and i will try that but i actually had another person on a different omputer checking whether the stream was working or not.and no im not running any mods although morrowind being dx8 would absolutly explain a lot Thanks!
