Question / Help Having a black capture screen

Dear people of the interwebs and obs.
im having issues trying to record anything from my scream audio and webcam work fine but nothing from my screen. i have followed a few videos said to fix these but it does not work.
advice?

Hard to tell what you're trying to capture there since there are so many sources. You've got a game capture that's trying to capture explorer.exe, and then you've got a video capture (are you using a capture card? if not, you don't need this) and then there's a display capture, which you shouldn't use at the same time as a game capture.

Depending on how you've layered this you could definitely have a blank game capture and/or a blank video device capture sitting on top of a working capture.

You want only one capture type in a scene.

ok i have gone to display capture only and it only shows my mouse.
ive also tried video capture alone on fullscreen and its still back ( but i dont have the log for this one)

"video capture" is for external capture cards. If you don't have one, you don't need that.

Not sure why you're getting black on display capture-- that's something that usually only happens on laptops with both discrete and integrated graphics.

Or on some games, like Destiny 2, where the developers are using some kind of blocker for capturing software.

Not without being able to reproduce the problem. You're trying to capture Minecraft, by the looks of it, either as a game capture or as display capture. Is it Java edition, or the one from the Microsoft store?
