I am the friend the friend in question. Apparently I can reply, but not post. Weird. So I have a djing laptop, and OBS laptop, and an internet dead zone. All the apps I can come up with to display the song playing require internet.
Brain is on vacation. Friend is looking for a program (add-on, plug-in, script, whatever) to display track and artist information for current song playing.
